Join teacher trainers and friends Leah Adams and Lara Ederer for a soul-nourishing retreat in the stark and stunning desert landscape of Joshua Tree.
Rooted in reverence, Metamorphosis and Moksha is an invitation to reflect on the transition of the equinox.
The fall equinox marks a time each year of balance and transition, light and dark as move toward the more introspective time of year. In the autumn nature is showing us graceful release with leaves surrendering, light softening, the earth preparing for rest.
Each morning will begin with a thematic vinyasa practice led by Lara, designed to energize the mind, body and spirit for a day of play, reflection and connection. Lara brings a decade of study with Yoga Medicine and her teacher Tiffany Cruickshank, with a background that bridges eastern and western medicine through the lens of yoga. Her teaching integrates elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, myofascial release, and therapeutic care, anchoring the physical practice in wisdom and precision.
Evenings will be guided by Leah, who will lead yin yoga sessions paired with grounding nourishing ayurvedic rituals. Leah is rooted in the belief that integrative ancient and evidence-based somatic practices cultivate resilience, connection, and joy. With over a decade of experience teaching movement, meditation, and breathwork, her work is deeply informed by studies in mindfulness, functional anatomy, and East Asian medicine. She gently invites others to develop practices that evolve with the changing seasons of life, and to return to the body as a source of wisdom.
