The Location
Tucked among the trees just a short walk from the shores of the Puget Sound, Harper’s Hill is a secluded woodland retreat space designed to support rest, reflection, and seasonal renewal. Nature sets the pace here, inviting a slower rhythm of living and a deeper connection to the cycles of the earth.
For The Tending Season, Harper’s Hill becomes a quiet container for practice, gentle movement, restorative rest, and time in nature. Days unfold between guided sessions, nourishing meals, and walks through forested trails or down to the nearby Harper Pier. The water-level dock offers a refreshing seasonal plunge into the Puget Sound, inviting a direct experience of the elements.
Only 45 minutes from Seattle by ferry, the property feels both accessible and quietly removed from everyday life. Its simple, rustic comforts support a return to essentials and create space for the nervous system to settle and reset.
Harper’s Hill offers a grounded setting for seasonal transition where practice is supported by land, water, and stillness, and the invitation is to arrive, soften, and listen.
